Once you enter the museum, you have gone through time starting from the curious Archaic Pre Dynastic Period’ to the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms. Proceed to Visit the Citadel with the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, one of the finest examples of Islamic Architecture. Continue to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars which is considered as the largest and oldest Bazaar in Cairo, built in 1382 by Sultan Barquq’s Master Garkas El Khalili. Sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Visit Horus Temple in Edfu the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic, albeit Greek-built, temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus. Sail to Luxor. Buffet Breakfast on board. Visit West bank: The Valley of Kings where 62 Pharaohs are entombed Gorgeously adorned with gold and jewels and surrounded with treasures and replicas of all they would need in the afterlife. The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the finest monuments of ancient Egypt, although its original appearance, surrounded by myrrh trees, garden beds and approached by a grand sphinx-lined causeway & Colossi of Memnon the massive pair of statues known as the colossi of Memnon are all that remain of the temple of the hedonistic Amemophis III. Lunch on board. Visit East bank: Karnak Temple in the New Kingdom, Amun-Ra was worshipped as the most important state god and the immense wealth of Thebes was spent embellishing and building temples in his honor. The most famous and magnificent of these is the Temple of Karnak. Luxor Temple Built over several centuries by Amenhopis III, Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Alexander the Great.
